You are bidding on a hard to find NOS 10 7/8" Diameter Clutch Pressure Plate for 38 39 40 41 42 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 and 53 Chevrolet passenger car and 1/2 ton pickup with a heavy duty clutch, part number 838949. This auction is for the plate only. We cleaned up the one plate for the pictures, but the plate you will be receiving will still be in the original box and is still covered in cosmoline. We have many of these plates, so you may not get the one in the picture but it will be exactly the same condition. The pictures say it all. This would be a nice addition to your 1938 1939 1940 1941 1942 1946 1947 1948 1949 1950 1951 1952 and 1953 Chevrolet passenger and pickup. When applicable, the New Old Stock (NOS) parts that we offer for sale are original production, assembly line pieces. Being assembly line pieces, there are often factory flaws in the part. There is no such thing as a "flawless" NOS piece, so please keep that in mind when restoring your vehicle. Unless noted otherwise in the description above, the part pictured is exactly what would have been found on the car when it was new. 
We are not experts on everything we sell, but we describe our items to the best of our knowledge and research, and as accurately as possible. Being human, mistakes are sometimes made in our listings, which may require us to end an auction early. We also accept money orders and personal checks, but we do wait up to 10 days for personal checks to clear. Shipping: Unless otherwise noted, we ship our items via UPS in the Continental U.S. We are very familiar with their rules and regulations, so please look over their regulations, especially in regard to their new Dimensional Weight rule, before questioning our shipping prices. We package our items with the safety of the item in mind, not to save a few dollars in shipping costs. For locations outside the Continental U.S., we usually ship by U.S. Mail unless otherwise requested. Dimensional Weight: As per the UPS website - If the cubic size of the package (LxWxH) is 5,184 inches or larger, divide the cubic size by 194 to determine dimensional weight in pounds. If the cubic size is less than 5,184, use the actual weight of the package. Returns: Returns will only be accepted if there is obvious and legitimate damage that was overlooked in our description, or if the item was damaged in shipping. No returns on electrical items. No returns will be accepted because of buyers remorse, or because of unrealistic expectations of the parts purchased. All returns are subject to the seller's discretion, and restocking fees will apply if we find the return was not warranted. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
