Post Frame (Pole Barn) House Plans & Instructions

38' x 50' (1500 sq ft inside + 8' x 50' porch)

This set includes building plans, step-by-step instructions, layout diagrams, material list, and general information needed to construct your own 38' x 50' x 9' post frame home (30' x 50' inside, 8' x 50' porch) ; with two walk-thru doors and 8 windows. Based on post frame construction with metal siding. Plans are set up for total enclosed home, but you are wide open on options- porches such as the picture above, and beyond- are easily added. Your slab can be poured in against your treated bottom plate after your posts have been set and the bottom band is applied or you can build this home on top of an already poured slab. Roof is a standard 4/12 pitch, but this plan can be altered for a 5/12 easily. This house can be built for about half the price of a standard home build, with twice the strength of stick frame, and will have approximately 8" walls when completed- super efficient!! Engineer's blueprints can only be provided by an approved engineer for your state. These plans follow basic IBC codes and this set of plans serves as an instructional manual instructing you in the step by step process of building this beautiful post frame home. This manual is printed upon each sale, specific to each size, at the Universal Builder's office. Pages are bound in a quality report cover to allow pages to be removed if needed. The structural drawings can many times be used to acquire permits,depending on your permit agency and their requirements.
