This is a must have book for anyone who collects meteorites. The third edition is the most up to date listing of meteorites available on the market today. This handy and compact (it measures 5.5” X 8.5”) reference book includes all meteorites (except numbered Antarctic) recognized by the Meteoritical Society through Jan. 1, 2008. Meteorites from A to Z has a total of 288 pages.

The book contains two main lists. The first lists all of the unnumbered meteorites outside of the Sahara with a handy check box by each meteorite name. Each meteorite contains classification, geographic location, find/fall information and total known weight. The next section lists all of the numbered meteorites in the Sahara and Arabian Peninsula.

We have also included three indexes. The first index lists all of the falls in chronological order. The second index lists all of the unnumbered meteorites from the first section in geographical order. The last index combines both sections into one complete classification list.
