If you are from Canada or Alaska, or Hawaii you must email us with your phone number for ups tracking reasons.
For shipping Puerto Rico You must contact us prior to bidding because shipping will be higher. If you are from Puerto Rico you must get a shipping quote before bidding.
If you are in a country outside of were we ship, contact us to set up a special auction for you, and to receive shipping quotes.
Shipping Charges include a Handling Fee. Any insurance fee that is above and beyond what it costs for insurance is considered a handling fee. We check over each and every product before it goes out, and set up each instrument for you so you don't have to pay someone to do that for you. We also have to buy tape, miscellaneous packing materials, and pay someone to package up your instrument and ship it to you. The handling part of your shipping and handling fee is to help pay for that. Bidders should understand this before bidding

Attention Canada Bidders. We are finding out that UPS charges a broker fee when they deliver to Canada. If you are fine with this that's ok, but if you do not want to be charged a brokers fee from UPS you need to request that your product is Shipped USPS (United States Postal Service).
*** Note that USPS (United States Postal Service, Takes longer, and is less reliable than UPS, Your tracking number will end at the USA border ( That means it can't be tracked within a country outside of the US.) USPS also has a policy that they have to wait 30 days after estimated time of delivery before they will try and track a package down. This means that if there is a problem it may take a really long time to get it resolved. You should know that and understand that before you request shipment through USPS.
Bidding: Please only bid if you are a serious bidder, and want to purchase and item from us. Please read everything in the auction before bidding, including shipping and insurance charges so you understand what you are bidding on, and what will be expected of you the buyer, so there isn't any kinks along the road. We want every customer to be a happy customer.
Also, if you only want one item, don't bid on two thinking that you will get outbid on one of the items, because sometimes what happens is that you will win both items. Again only bid if you are planning to buy.
Bidders should note: This product is made in china, and is likely to have some imperfections. The pictures you see are of a stock instrument we pulled off the shelf. Actual look of the instrument (wood grain) will vary.
Attention bidders. Here is some information about this auction and violins that you should know before you bid. Violins don't have frets. Violins also don't have geared tuners, they are friction fit tuners, that means that it is more difficult to tune the instrument which takes some knowledge about the instrument to actually tune it. If you want I can provide you with a website that guides you through the process of tuning a new violin after the auction. We will not accept returns if you can't figure out how to tune the instrument, it is up to the winning bidder to get the proper instruction from a certified violin instructor for training on how to tune the instrument. I am also glad to walk you through the process over the phone, tuning a violin that is new for the first time is a very involved process if you don't understand how to do it and I would be glad to help the best I can.
Before playing your instrument you need to apply rosin to the horse hair of your bow. I would be glad to give you information after the auction ends on how to properly apply rosin to your bow. Remember that your bow is new, and that means it doesn't have any rosin yet, and that also means it won't make a sound in till you break in your block of rosin (which can be difficult without the proper knowledge, and apply it properly. Again I can help you through this either by email or by phone.)
