I take the extra time to always include an abundance of clear photographs from every conceivable angle (often in various lighting situations) in my listings. Although I try to post a thorough and accurate description, It is difficult at times to convey all the information you need. So....since a picture is worth a thousand words, please use the photographs provided as though you were holding and examining the item in your hands. During the sale, at the bottom of the page, I may add a note to let you know how many people are watching the sale. That way you will get an idea of what your competition may be. I love giving positive feedback, but I wait until I know that you are satisfied with the transaction and leave a positive for me before I leave mine. - Since dirt can hide a multitude of flaws, I carefully clean and inspect each item I sell.
- Any white spots on my photos are the result of the inevitable reflections from my studio lights.
- I will gladly and promptly answer any email questions.
- I am very happy to save you on shipping by combining multiple purchases.
- Auctions formats run from Sunday to Sunday, ending around 9:00 pm EST. This seems to be an optimum time to give buyers on both the East and the West Coasts a equal opportunity to bid. They end in close succession, so keep that in mind when bidding on more than one item.
- During the sale, I may add to my description as I answer buyer's questions. So please scroll all the way to the bottom to read any such additions.
- In auction formats, a low starting bid is not a reflection on the actual worth of the item as normally it is worth quite a bit more. Just as in a live auction, I often prefer individuals to have the excitement of bidding without the hassles of reserves.
- Unfortunately, I have in the past been a victim of dishonest buyers who purchased my perfect item with the intent to switch it with a damaged one they already own. They have attempted to demand a refund for the “broken” item I sold them. I now mark all of my items with an indelible invisible mark that can only be seen under a special light to protect myself. Please do not attempt such a switch as it is not only dishonest, it is Mail Fraud.

As in any live auction (for auction formats), it is the potential bidders responsiblity to be completely informed about what they are bidding on. I guarantee my items to be as described and photographed. Many of the items I place for auction have been a part of other peoples lives so scratches, dings, dents, chips and cracks, etc. are to be expected. Knowing this I attempt to describe these imperfections as I find them. If I miss one I offer a full refund, (upon return of the item) less shipping, if you are not completely satisfied with the item as described. You MUST contact me within 3 days of receipt of the item. Other than that circumstance, there are no refunds.
I am a VERY honest seller so you may bid without concern. Seems I have had a run lately of non-paying high bidders. Please save us both the trouble and do not bid if you have no intention of paying. Paypal payments ship without delay. Checks and money orders (my bank has had a run on fraudulent money orders) will be held 10 days to make certain they clear the bank before item ships. This includes Postal Money Orders.Please be aware that this may cause a SLIGHT delay in shipment as I will have to wait until the Tuesday following the date it clears the bank to ship. Buyer pays actual USPS Priority Mail shipping charges to their zipcode plus $2.50 to help defray the costs of packaging supplies such as printer ink, bubble wrap and tape. (which seem to get more expensive each time I purchase them!)
There is an eBay shipping calculator at the bottom of the auction page that you may use to determine your shipping cost. I pack items with extreme care, which adds to the weight, but it's worth it for a safe delivery. See my feedback for many compliments on my careful packaging. Insurance is mandatory. I can only ship on Tuesdays.
Insurance is mandatory. I cannot stress enough that I package with extreme care. Nevertheless, sometimes the post office does lose or damage an item. I have just had two packages go missing! Should that occur, I will assist the buyer in filing an insurance claim for reimbursement. This mainly applies to International sales but can apply to United States sales as well: If the postal claim for damaged is denied, I cannot and will not be held responsible for breakage that occurred during shipping. I package too well for damage to occur by any other means than negligence on the part of the postal facilities involved.
