4 FRANK M WHITING OLD KENTUCKY STERLING MINT JULEP CUPS

Submitted for your consideration this evening are these 4 vintage Frank M. Whiting Company (North Attleboro, Massachusetts; 1878-1940) "Old Kentucky" #50 sterling silver mint julep cups. Each measures roughly 3 3/4" tall, by 2 15/16" top diameter, by 2 7/16" bottom diameter, and weighs an average of 3.935 troy ounces, for a total combined weight of 15.74 troy ounces. They all appear to be in excellent overall condition for their age, with only nominal surface wear from decades of use and polishings, and only 2 small noticeable dings in one cup (please see our bottom picture). There are no added personalized engravings or removals. These would make a magnificent addition to any elegant set of sterling barware, or a great gift for that Kentucky Derby fan in your family.
