You are bidding on four journals specializing in research in the State of North Carolina.  Each journal is at least 28 pages and is filled with research material.  The journals are dated 1997.

 

A small fraction of names from family bibles, cemetery records, and early land grants are:  Colwell, Harriman, Mallory, Penningtons, Pipe, Sale, Samuels, Sebastian, Toliver, Vannoy, Walters, and Wyatt, among hundreds of others.

 

Particular areas of research are:  Boone, Brushy Mountain, Edwards, Hillsboro, Moravian Falls, Salisbury, and Wilkesboro, among many others.

 

Some unusual articles of particular interest to genealogists are:  a list of 1792 New River settlers, 1920-1923 newspaper vitals, and many other informative articles.

 

The journals weigh less than two pounds and will be sent media mail.  All proceeds from the sale of these journals benefit our local non-profit genealogical society.
