This ad is like memory foam 101 - There are probably many things that you do not know.....that you do not know. How could you??? It took me 6 years to know all this. Please read my trick list and then you can buy anywhere with confidence.
I have so many people say that they can buy memory foam cheaper somewhere else--I can do that too! I could sell you very cheap memory foam. However, it would not feel like the memory foam I have now - nor would it last as long. Nor would you want it to. Why? Because cheap memory foam has a lot of regular foam in it. Cheap memory foam feels like cheap memory foam-- it does not feel like quality memory foam because it --isn't quality memory foam --IT IS CHEAP MEMORY FOAM.
Trust me on this one--you do not want cheap memory foam. There is a huge difference between cheap memory foam and quality memory foam --- or I would sell the cheap memory foam too. If you need to buy a bed topper really cheap-- buy the egg cartons.

Cheap toppers are usualy all about this next trick I am going to tell you about----An ad that reads 5.5 memory foam topper pad is a trick ad!!! An ad must inform you of the density number ( of the topper pad) It should read (5.5lb density ~~ not 5.5lb memory foam topper ) If an ad reads: This is a 5.5 topper ....that means you will most probably (for sure -I should say) you will get half the density number amount listed ~ See - the trick is ~ that they did not say 5.5lb density ~ they said 5.5 topper) These are ord games- make you believe one thing but they will send you another !!! That is why the price is cheap~ the density is probably about 2lb density.
They use a bogus way to measure memory foam - like 2 cubic feet. We can really only measure memory foam by 1 cubic foot. 1 cubic foot is the industry standard -when determining the density of foam. However ,some memory foam sellers use a different method then the standard 1 cubic foot. That is how they can not get prosecuted for out and out fraud .Read the tricks that I have listed - near the end of this ad. Call or email sellers - and ask the right questions! Ask the density. Then ask if they measure by 1 cubic foot. Listen carefully to your answers.

Density
To keep the definition simple….Memory foam is made up of billions of visco-elastic cells and voids.(empty spaces). The less air between the visco-elastic cells, the more dense. The more air in the with the visco-elastic cells the less dense your topper will be . Memory foam provides customized support just where you need it.Visco Elastic Memory Foam is made up of billions of memory cells that are temperature sensitive.
It was developed for NASA by a Swedish bedding company in the 60's. They did not use it at NASA. However- it quickly turned into the first generation of memory foam bedding sleep products. WOW! There has been nothing like sleeping on memory foam since! Only the rich could afford it for years. Now there are more company's that make memory foam & they compete for business. Now you and I both, can afford to buy top quality memory foam. Be careful with your selection -all memory foam is not created equal. Buy top quality memory foam, like I sell. Do not buy cheap memory foam. It is not at all the same.Many are cheap and feel like regular foam and go flat.

Finding Your Sweet Spot
Your bed may influence your topper choice. You must first ask yourself- how you want your bed to feel . Firm, soft, medium soft??? That will be your sweet spotJ. Take into consideration what kind of surface you will put your topper on. It will make a difference what density or thickness of memory foam you should choose. For instance, I like a soft bed. I weigh 175 & have a soft pillow top mattress (14 years old). I could get a 2" 4lb density topper and my bed would still be nice and soft. If I wanted to make my bed firm - I would select a 3 inch 4.5lb or 4"/4.5lb topper to put on my soft bed, to make it more firm. That would change my bed completely. Next - how much do you weigh? Do you have pain? Where at?
Density Choices
5lb Toppers & 5.3LB
Let's face it .5lb toppers are the best if you want softness and support. You will melt into these slowly. The 2" 5lb is medium firm-the 3" 5lb is also medium firm. The 4" 5lb is the softest in the 5lb density - because the thicker you go in any memory foam the softer it will be. It is like a mattress all by itself. You could lay it on the floor and have the best bed in the world. However; if you want a topper that is very, very soft --then consider a 4lb density. 5lb is still soft--it just takes a minute to sink in. Great support for your back. Great for couples who cuddle-it can take the combined weight .It is still soft. I do not want you to think it is hard. It is not . The 5lb is a med.firm with cush topper--even at 4 inches. Again, when I say firm you must keep in mind that this is memory foam--memory foam is a soft substance. 5.3lb is a bit more firm than the 5lb densiity. All of it is good .Compare to Tempur-pedic.
4.5lb Toppers
The 4.5lb pad is a more med. firm density. It is not a hard density. This is a good density for people who want a semi firm topper. Remeber it is memory foam - so it is not too firm. It feels close to 5lb memory foam to me. ...however it is not the same firmness.
4.2lb Density Toppers (med soft)
It is a favorite of many.This density is medium soft density. The 2" 4.2lb is medium soft) 3" 4.2lb density is softer than 2inch 4.2lb .The 4inch 4.2lb is what I consider a pretty soft topper with some great cush to it. You will stay more on the top of a 4.2lb density memory foam mattress topper than you will a 4lb density . The 4" 4.2lb is like a bed - just by itself. It is soft and cushy. The thicker you get in any topper - the more cush you will have. Of course we are talking about memory foam - so when I say firm, do not think that I mean to say - that it is hard. This is memory foam -- so it is a soft subject :-) you will have softness at any thickness or density.
You will spend one third of your life in bed!
4lb Density is medium / soft.
Cushy and very soft. It is a favorite of many also. If you want to change your bed to softness , I think the 3" 4lb is a very good thickness and a soft / cushy density . It is good choice for most any person who weighs 240lbs and under. That would also depend on the bed you have. You will melt into any 4lb density more quickly than a 4.5lb density . There is less waiting time for the topper to warm up with your body heat. That fact that you sink into it quickly is better for people with great pain or hip pain. When you roll over-or change positions , you have immediate comfort -instant gratification . No waiting time, for the topper to heat up. The 4lb density will mold to your body shape, very quickly and cradle you with comfort. It is a medium soft density at 2 inch and will add some cush to your existing bed. A 3" 4lb thickness is soft and cushy and you will sink into it (depending on your weight) A 4lb density topper is very soft at the 4" 4lb density. When you buy 4" 4lb density topper - you are buying a very soft density .Read below for more info on that inch. A 2 inch 4lb density can relieve the pressure points that keep you from side sleeping, especially if you already have a soft bed. It can be the perfect fix for a firm bed that only needs a little cushion for comfort .
Do not think bigger is always better. If you have a firm bed and hip pain and weigh less than about 185 --a 2 inch 4lb density might add just the right amount of softness and cush that you need - yet keep your bed fairly firm & not change the integrity of your bed. If you like a softer bed - then a 3" 4lb might be your perfect sweet spotJ.
The 4 inch 4lb density is soft
It is a favorite of many. 4" 4lb is very soft- so you must like soft beds to order this inch size. A 4" 4lb density topper will surround your body with comfort as you melt into it. How much& how deep depends on your weight. You will sink into this some at 130- 150lbs. If you weigh 160 -200lbs or more you will sink into it much more. Common sense stuff. You will not bottom out, even if you weigh 300lbs. A 4" 4lb memory foam bed mattress topper really gives you that floating feeling. At 4 inches you have no bones touching anything but the softness of memory foam. You are cradled in your own soft space. It is much better than feathers, because it returns to shape without any fluffing. Very luxurious feeling! This is a favorite for kids. It is also the choice of many cancer patients, people with MS, anyone who has great pain and needs their bones- not to touch anything. It is the best thickness to escape great pain - of bones meeting the bed. You will melt into your own little space. if you are a couple -you need to add your weight up and consider that. If you put this on a firm bed it will not be as soft as it is on a soft bed.That is true with all toppers.

3.5LB Density medium soft
This is a medium low density. It is similar to the 4lb- less jell feeling to it. Soft and comfy, yet some firmness too because it has more regular foam in it. This is a good density because it is close to the 4lb density but less expensive. A 3.5lb is still a good density memory foam choice. It is a good density for camping and rolling up in closets.
Great for camping, sleepovers, dorm beds, nursing homes, vans, etc.
3LB Density is med firm /yet soft.
This density is as low -as I would ever order- in memory foam. It is different from the other memory foam. It has more foam to it. This can be an advantage. If you are rolling it up or making many transfers from place to place... the amount of regular foam will help make the topper very durable. The cost is less, and it is light weight enough for camping and vans and really good for patients in home recovery and nursing homes too.
You may need to start with inexpensive memory foam. That is fine, nothing wrong with this density. It is just not the same high density foam sold over TV or in the magazines. However, it is good nice soft memory foam. Better than anything else you can buy. Much better than egg crate foam .But not an A+ memory foam choice (still it is an A+ quality for a 3lb density) If you want the best A+ quality memory foam, then buy 4lb density or up.
2.8LB Density or less Pass! Don't Buy it!
Consider your weight! Do you have pain? Where at? If it is in your hips you may want more inches if you weigh over 240lbs. If you have pain in your shoulders, we do not have as much weight to consider, as we do in the hip area. Maybe a 2" thickness would be just fine for you if you have shoulder pain. If you like your bed base and just want a little cushion for it, a 2"/ 4lb or 2"/ 4.5 density might be a perfect solution. If you do not like your bed base and you want a complete change then pick a 3" or 4 inches might be a good choice - in any density - that you think sounds good. At the end of the day, it is all a personal choice. Any memory foam topper will increase your comfort. Do not drive yourself nuts thinking you must get it exactly right. Go with your instincts and whatever you choose will be better than what you have (in my humble opinion)
This topper is hypo-allergenic. The factory adds an anti-microbial, which kills any fungi or germs which may get onto the topper. So you do not need a cover the topper is hypo-allergenic. This also helps if the foam becomes wet, it helps to prevent molding. This causes a smell at first when you open the topper, but it goes a way very quickly and you should be very happy it smells! Be worried, that it is not a high end product if it does not smell a bit. This is a good sign. It should smell ---- IT GOES AWAY..
What to use, to cover your topper ...
You do not need or want an expensive cover. Just use a sheet. Why? Memory foam is heat sensitive. Therefore, you want to be as close as possible to the topper. You do not want a topper cover or a regular padded bed cover which will only put more padding between you & a topper. The topper will hold its place better on a bed with only one side covered . It will not slip around at all.
You can cover the topper with a thin 100% cotton knit jersey or with a regular 100% cotton sheet. I have my bed covered in a deep pocket 100 % cotton sheet or a light weight flannel fitted sheet . OK I know what you are thinking.... flannel is not too hot. No it is not ... I suffer from terrific hot flashes, but not in my bed. I am never hot - just laying on it.
If it is important to you to have the entire topper covered (to keep it clean) then buy 2 deep pocket fitted flannel or knit jersey sheets and put them on both sides. It works just perfect.
Topper covers are unnecessary, Some sellers sell inferior memory foam cloaked in these covers. They look very good at first- all covered up in the plush looking velour. Most covers for toppers are cheap and they fall apart very fast (that is why many sellers offer them free) And they may cover more than you want them to....like cheap foam. If they are not 100% cotton then that is another problem. Covers for toppers are just not for me. I can hardly get those covers back on my pillows. I can not imagine a 70lb topper. If they were not slippery and if we never had to remove them,and if they were made well---then they would be neat to have. But tis not so!
You spend one third of your life in bed, get a safe topper made in the USA!

Do the math with me and see just how affordable it is........ And consider that you will spend one third of your life in this bed! OK FIGURE THIS - 365 days x 10 - 20 years of use. hmmmmmmmm?? Can you figure it out?? Less than I can even figure in a penny. Is that affordable enough for the absolutely best, comfy bed in the world? When you break it down it is not at all expensive to buy the best, from me. GOOD memory foam is just not cheap for anyone to buy. Even for me, it does not exist! Do not dream it does. Send one to a Soldier, College Students Dorm beds are terrible , Nursing Homes, People recovering from surgery, Truckers, Vans, Camping, Cushions for chairs, Beds in boats and campers. Animal Beds, and Kids Love them,(the thicker the better) I keep one or two rolled up in the closet for guests! They are great graduation gifts or birthday or just any day! Where was it made and why it is important?
It is important because….. The USA has laws that govern what is made and sold here. However other countries can import all the poison they want to, in products. You have heard the news of lead in in products made in China, for the kids toys. That should be enough to give you pause & to think about your safety, concerning sleeping on this for 10-20 years. We do not know what is in it- if it is from China. You will sleep on this memory foam for 10- 20 years. So you should want to know it is safe! We have no idea what fillers they use on imports . We know this - it is really cheap stuff.
FYI Plywood, candles, foods and other things that are sold to the US from other countries, have poisons in them too. It said - just recently in the news- that the FDA checks 1 % of food imports. Imagine!!! And we think it is all safe! The USA regulates what goes in the plywood made here and also the candles and also the sprays put on food and memory foam, and etc. Candles must have a certain amount of lead and no more. However, the cheap ones from other countries are loaded with lead, they sell them very cheap to us and we are breathing all that lead in our lungs. Great lighting - that is poisoning all of us. And they import these by the millions, billions. Look at the news about the Barbie Doll toys painted with lead paint. All from China! I would really scare you if I told you about some of the foods ! lol but not funny :-(
Buy memory foam from USA, you know that it is safe and it is flame retardant and you can trust what goes into making it is safe. I do not buy memory foam spun with sand to weight it - nor air to fluff it. I buy the real deal. I am honest and you can trust me. My own kids sleep on this & I certainly love them more than any money I might save by buying imports foam from other countries. .

Cheap foam = compression sets (slow recovery foam that goes flat within 6 months to a year)
Cheap foam = tricks (half the density, regular foam, short irregular sizes, skin on one side, etc.)
Cheap foam = imports (no regulations -possible toxic foam-unsafe product)
Cheap foam = Cheap foam and all the other stuff that goes with cheap foam. read:
Read & search for the word density behind any lb sign. Example: 3" 4lb density is correct. (ex: 3" topper) is a trick.
How to read feedback The ads that you see listed on eBay,that are selling memory foam really cheap, are almost all ads that come from the same 2- 4 sellers . They just use diffent names, different pictures & different tricks. Unfortunately you can not just trust the feedback number. Many sellers feed themselves their own feedback- so you can only trust the negative feedback that you read. We all run into a few people who will not be pleased,no matter what-- but no one eBay site should have over 3- 6 bad feedbacks in a 2 - 3 year span. So check that negative feedback number - if it is a high number -then read their negative feedback ( that is probably what you can expect also).
Ask yourself these questions: Are they a relatively new seller with thousands of feedbacks? Does the feedback look suspicious (a new seller with thousands of feedback-many in one day) They could also be an old seller - with thousands of good feedback and 30 - 100 bad feedbacks. If they have a lot of bad feedback and thousands of good feedback ( the thousands of phony positive feedback will off set the % number that you see on the front page of an ad .) It might say 97.7% positive feedback. Click into the feedback to see "ALL FEEDBACK" & read and then you can see how many bad feedbacks they have. That will give you a true idea about what you can expect .
One site is selling Serta, reputable brand name, right? However the toppers are short in dimensions- read & check. Many sellers will sell toppers that are too short to fit any bed-and they list the sizes ---so read!
A common trick used: a seller may measure by 2 or 3 cubic feet ( which is scienticically impossible) That measurement trick ---can trick you into buying half the density -that you think it is. This is a method is used to sell very cheap, low density foam. Tricks are used by using word games and numbers that mean absolutely nothing! Of course -you do not know how to measure foam - and they count on that fact! They might say 5.5 -3.5, 10lb topper in their ad instead of 5.5lb - 3.5lb density. Get it? They did not say the word density -they said the word topper. Then they will send you about 1-2lb density memory foam and unfortunately it will go flat with-in 6months to a year.
Toppers made in China or Europe are imports. They have no regulations or laws to follow. And they are not the same as the toppers made in the USA! Imports sell very cheap and can be unsafe and toxic. AND THEY DO NOT CARE!!
Free stuff is only free -- because it is not worth anything - it will not be comfy - that is why it is free!
Read all small print
Wal-Mart tells you that it is 4" of memory foam and it is 2 & a half inches of regular foam and 1& half inches of low density foam or 4lb density glued on the top.
Get the right bed size - not one that is many inches too short or one side is unusable skin or irregulars glued together. Don't think you can buy good memory foam really cheap. Since I have made this list of tricks -other sites that are the tricky guys- are also listing some of the tricks that I list . Do not be fooled, just because they list some tricks! They just look a bit more honest now - but they are not. You must still read -very carefully.
Some sellers will list a zillion ads -for 1 cent with no reserve- flat shipping. They will have a flat shipping fees and that shipping fee can pay all they need, for really cheap, low density, slow recovery, inferior foam.
Do you really think good memory foam can sell for 1 cent ---plus about $25.00- $36.00 shipping ???
CALL! Ask questions! If there is no one to talk to when they take your money, what do you expect if something goes wrong? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ?? Send an email, is it answered? NO???? Send another-call . If you still get no answer...Then do not buy there!
An import is an import. If it is an import - it has no USA rules. No regulations to follow. God knows what is in it??? I will only sleep on memory foam made in the USA. I have seen with my own eyes that these toppers are made here. Now they say they have memory foam from Europe. My friend, an import is an import! Do not be dazzled by a name that sounds better than China. An import is an import!
Check dimensions don’t overlook size - if the site is Overstock ed /see if the toppers are cut short..I have checked and many toppers are shorter than the beds are--- in most ads. .
Feedback Well, I am sorry to say : " You just can not trust it - like you could 3 years ago."
Now- one seller can have an email site that can host 150 other email sites. What that means is EEK: they can give themselves feedback - constantly - consistantly & automatically - everyday. And they do!!!They can give 3 feedback or 200 a day. I just looked at Jan.31 on a Mr.. ---- and it has over 20 sold on one day. Do you believe that? If you see some seller who is listed with terrific feedback- thousands and more. And then a lot of bad feedback also ....You have to question that site. Be suspicious and read all of the ad. I explained how to read feedback.
Now they will probably change tactics, since they know I am telling you about this. They can change what they will do in the future but not what they have done in the past. So check around Halloween 2006 and forward. That is when I noticed the same sites are giving each other feedback. It could have started before.
It is Feb. 20 2008. If I get a bad feedback- please understand - it is probably them. They have been running up bids on my site (so you do not see me) eBay is now watching my site for this & any other suspicious activity. (More about this at the end of the trick list)

8lb or 6.5 density would be much toooooooooooo hard! And very -very-very expensive!!!!
10 inches of any foam is entirely too much. More than 4" is over kill! Read about the density and thickness because 2" memory foam may be all you need if it is great memory foam , like mine is.
10 inches of memory foam comes many ways.
1) 3 pieces of foam held together in a casing . The 2 bottom layers are usualy foam + a low grade density memory foam and the top is usually a 2" pice of memory foam that is 2lb - 3lb or 4lb density memory foam . This is all held together in a casing. Remember you can not melt into memory foam with padding on the top of it ( it is heat sensitive) nor can you melt into a thick casing. This is very expensive, low grade foam. Read the feedbacks. I would pass! (Just my humble opinion) Red Flag
2) An expensive memory foam bed. Built from the bottom up, with the last 2 inches being a good density foam glued on the top. My opinion is this: no matter what anyone tells you ---it is just common sense that if you rotate a mattress of any kind --you will get twice the use out of it. So I am very against anything being glued. To me that sreams: this is built to fail faster! check the price tags
Keep your bed & add a topper & you have the bed!!!! Save $$$
Beware of the women in pajama's. Pajama's of all colors that are laying on white toppers. Check the size! Check the density. Call & ask questions (do they answer your questions?) Do they answer the phone? hmmmm???Read negative feedbacks & be suspicious. Call! ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT DENSITY, DIMENSIONS AND IMPORTS ! Insist on calling & talking to a human if you buy! (just my humble opinion)
Many sellers will sell irregulars that are too short or are so bad that you can not use them for a bed.
Some say in their ad that it "features ----" (whatever) let us say "IT FEATURES 6.5"density for an example. Now it does not say that - this topper they are selling is 6.5 density or 5.5 density. It just gives a list , that says "it features " 6.5 density toppers. The one you buy or bid on , may not be the "featured article" Get it.
Cheap will always = tricks and cheap low density foam! Some come in 3 pieces or with only one usable side, the other side is cooked skin from the top of the buns (like the heals of a bread loaf)
This day is Feb.10th -2008 - If I get a negative now- then it is probably from them! Remember that!
Be sharp! Anything over 5.3 density is heavier than Temperpedic. It would cost VERY MUCH money ....if it were a truly a quality memory foam topper. A 5.5lb density would be pretty hard. A 10lb density would be excruciatingly hard .They just think if you “the customer" see a high number, you will buy it because "you think bigger is better." Be smarter than that!! That is a red flag?
Some sellers are promising a 20 year warranty –then say that this is only with the manufacturer. I suggest that you question this. Even if the seller will give a warranty for 20 years (on their own store), I suggest that you can not believe that any seller will know where he will be 20 years from now. Who knows if eBay will be here for 20 years. We may be dead. I mean really-who knows??? That 20 year warranty is an empty promise in my humble opinion.Read feedbacks.
Covers normally, are on cheap foam. If you buy cheap foam and it has a cover on it, you can not see how cheap the memory foam is, nor do most people look at first. They just say “Oh, feel how nice this cover feels and then the topper may have a compression set within 6 months( that is when you get up and see your body imprint is still there 2 hours later :-( PS Most covers are also cheap and fall apart on the 3rd washing....that is why many offer the covers for free--they are not worth any $$$$) Covers are very hard to get on and off too. WOW - imagine a 4" 4.5lb topper !!!
Cheap memory foam will have a compression set within a year. When compressions begin to set in - you do not see them happen as well with a cover. That is when the foam sinks in and does not come back up very fast. Slow recovery. Eventually your shape will still there the next day. That is a compression set.
Keywords to watch out for. dual action memory foam - slow recovery/ 4lb range or 4lb to 4.5lb. (no density is listed ) 2.5lb moderate density. BIG red flag. Miracle foam -Wonder foam ( is that memory foam???) Names are just names. Think and be suspicious when you read.
Some are selling memory foam that was cut from the top or bottom of the bun and you can only use one side. The other side is baked. It will look like the heal of a loaf of bread. They are irregulars that can not be returned. That is a red flag?
NO ONE CAN BUY 4.5LB FOR THE SAME PRICE AS 4LB DENSITY. That is a BIG red flag?
DO NOT PAY MORE BECAUSE THE PICTURE IS BETTER or THEIR WEB SITE. TRUST THE SELLER J
Do a control /f See what density if any that the ad is selling. Watch out for ANY store that does not list the density. The density is what you are paying for. It might talk about density all over the ad. But does it say that "this topper you are buying" ...... is that the density that you will get?
Read the small print! I know, I said this twice. Just wanted to make sure you did not miss it. Small print is a red flag?
If it is priced cheap, it is cheap foam. Period! RUN AWAY!!!!! You will get what you pay for. No one out here is selling quality memory foam for $49.00 on eBay or for 1 cent- $31.00 shipping. No seller is stupid! Quite the opposite!
Your topper will not turn cold and hard, so you can buy any "good memory foam" and not worry about this tale. So silly! It is heat sensitive. When you lay on it, it will mold to your form. even in a cold room.
A good topper will not make you hot (unless you have no air-condition) Then you are hot anyway! It will not make you hot because the open celled structure is self-ventilating, so it actually dissipates heat.
Use 100% cotton sheets-jersey covers-etc. , stay away from polyester that holds heat ~ cotton breathes.
Shrink wrapping will not hurt good memory foam. This is memory foam! It will regain air without any harm done. It will hurt cheap toppers but not a good one. If it could not regain its shape after shrink-wrapping, how could it regain it's shape after you sleep on it 10 -20 years. Seeeeeee, just common sense stuff.
Some factories spin sand into their memory foam to add weight. It feels very different and like a sandy finish to it.
Some spin air to save on materials . It is all fluff and no stuff! Got to trust your seller! Call, get a feel for them.
Some will sell to you, and then order your topper from somewhere else & it will take 6 weeks or more to deliver. Look at and read feedbacks! Ask questions. They may be ordering from other sellers and reselling.
Check the density of a topper before you buy, Call, ask questions! Get the density! But be prepared to have people lie to you over the phone. Ask then to send you an email promising that they are selling you 4.5lb density. Then, also know, that you can hold 5 samples of 4.5lb density and they all feel different. I buy the best!
Our factory adds an Anti-Microbial, which kills any fungi or germs which may get onto the topper. This also helps if the foam becomes wet, it helps to prevent molding. Our memory foam is hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. The USA regulates how much -of what - "stuff" is safe to put in memory foam.. to make it hypo-allergenic .imports do not have these laws.
Since the topper itself is hypo-allergenic You do not need a cover -to protect you from ugly dust mite pictures. Two or one fitted sheet keeps your topper clean and there are no mites in memory foam. And do not be so afraid of the ugly bugs. These ugly bugs have been with you for years. They are everywhere. I know ICKY and YUCK! But tis true! This ugly bug picture is only a scare tactic..lol J That is another red flag?
Measurement by 2 cubic feet is a word game TRICK! Scientifically unacceptable!
If you order a 5.0 topper you get approx. 2.5lb density or less measured by 2 cubic feet
If you order 4. 2 toppers you get approx. less than 2lb density measured by 2 cubic feel
If you buy a 3.0lb topper you get approx. almost regular foam measured by 2 cubic feet
Measurement by 3 cubic feet is not worth listing!
If it is cheap read it 3 times and then call me if you do not find the loop hole. CHEAP = TRICKS!!!
Some sellers just lie. And that is just the cold - hard truth.Some use words, that hide the tricks - to sell their foam and claim that they are selling high density foam, then deliver the lowest of the low density foam to you . Some sell expensive beds . They are made with layers of foam & bedding material & then topped with 1.5" or 2 inch memory foam (glued down-that is built to fail in time- you can not turn it) All U need is a topper. A topper makes the bed!
Good memory foam is not cheap!! It will not be very cheap and be good. Just give up that hope. It is affordable and way less than the retail stores. Be happy with that!!! :-) Do not think any one out here is stupid and has bought good memory foam and that they will sell it to you cheap and take a loss. You can save hundreds and thousands! But you can not find some one stupid seller!!! And you can't find good quality -cheap! It does not exist . Do not dream it does...and buy the tricks :-(
Since I have made this trick list & shared " the truth" about memory foam tricks on eBay - I have been attacked buy other sellers with unwelcome bidding. Other sellers do not want you to read my trick list. They have they almost ruined us. .. long story short ..they are clever -ruthless people who have no ethics at all and intend to fool you and ship bad foam. Some list for free shipping - $9.99 or 1 penny no reserve. They have many, many ads - page after page - many are the same seller under different names.

Warranty...What Warranty??? *
The tricks are numerous here too, read very carefully how a warranty is worded.
If it says return it in new condition...... how can you do that after years of use. They tell you to call first for a reason. It can't be used or damaged. It must be in like new condition. Think about that. What does new condition mean? Call and ask.
Ask if it has a 2.5 compression set in 10 years --if they will exchange the bed for you. you see in the bedding world -a 2.5 compression set is acceptable.Not only is it acceptable -it is expectected. With normal wear and tear -a topper will last about 6 years and then it feels different. Anyone who tells you dofferent -is jsut saying words (in my himble opinion)
Do not pay 2 grand and more $$$ and expect any bed to feel the exact same in 20 years. Pay $300.00- $00.00 and expect 6-10 years. That is good!!! Be happy with the truth :-) Or buy the BIG BED LIE !And be unhappy:-( Think about it .
Common sense should tell you that no bed can feel the same after 20 years!!!
Does a long warranty still impress you?? Do you really think you can trust and believe that an eBay company will be there 20 years from now?
I could give you a 20 year warranty also, and add a bunch of loopholes, in case you want to buy a 20 year warranty topper ......but I am honest!

I know retail stores who buy from the same factory that I do will give a 20 year warranty against "product defects.” What is that-exactly? That means the pad will not fall apart. That means that it will last 20 years with normal use. and they expect a compression set with normal use. Ask them!!!! They charge $800.00 and up for that “20 year warranty - "word "
Ask to read the warranty if you buy a bed. With some beds, usually , only the foam that they sew under the top of the mattress quilted cover is under warranty. How do you get the foam out? Well some do pull out. some go flat in 6 months then they give you another 2 -3 inch pad that will go flat also. then they will give you to their problem department. then you will get very mad that you spent 2-3 grand for this great bed that does not feel great at all. And the warranty had lots of holes in it.
They make a warranty very long and wordy--and count on you not reading it--in full!!!
What about the warranty that says return -no questions asked- for about a year? Said you could return it , even if you did not like the name . lol Then says they have to check it --- for return . Check what? I thought no questions were asked? (Is it just me that this confuses????????)
If it costs $75.00 or $150.00 to return plus shipping. you have paid for the cheap low grade memory foam they are selling in layers. If they then give you free pillows, that ship separate, then that is another extra shipping cost. Just read and think while you are reading.
Regular foam can be comfy & last for years....but it is foam! So if you want high density memory foam, then it must state the density and be made in the USA. Regular foam is cheap to buy. Real 100% visco elastic memory foam is not cheap. If you want regular foam, just go buy regular foam. .....nothing wrong with that, if it is what you want.
If they say a 2.5" compression set is normal, well then OOPS! There goes your warranty, They stated in their ad, that you will have a 2.5" compression set (hole), it is normal , even expected , and they told you so , didn't they ? I read that warranty, too!!! What if you want to buy a 2" topper? Now you are really in trouble! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??
Rule of thumb. Read fine print! Thought I would say it again. It is a major trick! That is a red flag?
What if they say they give you a 20 year warranty -however it is a warranty from a factory that made the foam???? Contact that factory and ask the details!!!!!!! Big red flag!
I will guarantee a regular HARD foam will not sink into a compression too! 2.5 density is almost all foam! You might buy it cheap or expensive. However, it is and remains -mainly foam! why not just go buy foam--if you do not see the density descibed on an ad or box---you can bet that you are buying mostly foam.
I will give you a 20 year warranty too if you will pay $800.00 plus for a topper, get it ? That is part of what you pay for in retail stores and that is a lot of money to pay for a warranty. Especially since none of us know where we will be in 20 years! Especially people selling on eBay. Buy a good topper , not a good warranty. Read negative feedback. we all get a nut or 2 along the way but not 22 plus!
Use your common sense when you read these ads. Your instincts will usually lead you to the correct buyer...... if you are not -just looking for -BIG or CHEAP!

ABOUT SHRINK WRAPPING
This factory that I buy from, sells thousands of toppers a week, and they are all shipped shrink wrapped in huge semi-trucks. The stores open them up and sell them from $390.00 to $1,200.00 and up .They give 5- 10- 20 years warranty on the same toppers that I am selling, right here. Not one customer that walks into a retail store will ask "how were these toppers shipped to your store?" Why????Because it is not important! Not if you are selling good memory foam!
It is shown on TV, that a steam roller can go over and over good memory foam and it will return to its original shape every time. Have you ever shrink wrapped a blanket? Even that returns to its original shape and size. This is memory foam and it will return to its original shape and it will be just fine. If someone told me that their foam would be damaged if it were shrink wrapped, I would be worried about their foam. Ours is not damaged by shrink wrapping it. Remember, we are selling memory foam, are we not? Well I am!
Remember folks.....this is memory foam! If it can not remember it's shape after being in a box for a few days, how could it remember it's shape for 5- 10- 20 years after you sleep on it ?

Should You Buy A Bed Or A Topper ?
What is the difference? Obviously they can make the entire bed and then take memory foam and put it on the top of the mattress. Inside the bed covering. Glued down, usually. Built to fail in time! And they charge a pretty penny for that. About 2 grand & more.Keep your own bed (or buy a regular inexpensive bed ) then put a good memory foam topper on top of your bed and WALA!!! You made a memory foam bed! And you have the same thing (In my humble opinion) You will have the same comfort as an expensive memory foam bed that will cost over $1,000 .00 - $4,000.00 . Yours is probably better! They will tell you no, no that their bed is built much better.........It is is better! Much better money for them, thousands of dollars better? But is it better for you? I say no!
Put a topper on your own bed. There now, we made a bed! And you have layers too! If you have the memory foam incased in a bedding cover or have the top glued down on top or under a padded top, so it can not be turned. That should scare you. You can not melt into memory foam easily with padding .You will just sag or dip - but you will not mold into any memory foam. It is heat sensitive and needs to be close to your body. It is a mattress topper and needs to be turned to lengthen it's life. What about the fact that.....all mattresses, of any material, need to be turned every once in a while? Some things in this world are built to fail ,so you will need to replace it with another.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR TOPPER....
Follow the opening instructions on the topper, or you could tear it.
Let the box get room temperature AND THEN OPEN IT! Place on a CLEAN FLAT SURFACE like your bed, to get it warm .Remember... it needs to get to room temperature. Be patient with the opening process.
DO NOT FORCE IT OPEN!
You could cause it to tear if you do not open it correctly You will not hear a split or crack if you cause the topper to open too soon, but you will see one, if you force it open. So be patient. It will soon become very soft and pliable. It may take a few hours before you should try to unfold it if you live in a cold climate (or if it is winter and it has been in a cold UPS truck) or if your air-condition is really cool in your house.... it may take all day or a week, for it to recover its shape and become soft, pliable memory foam in very cold winters or if it is a 5lb density.. It may take a week for 5lb 4" king because that is a lot of dense foam/ just have patience, especially during the winter months. At first it will look too small, don't freak!!! lol It will look like a huge, hard ball of dough. Never fear, it will regain the air and be just great .You will love it .
Remember...... at first it will look too small at first … Just give it time and a “gentle coaxing, a little pull” (after it warms up) to help it straighten out. Coax it to bed size! Handle with care when moving it, from place to place or you will tear it. All returns must return in the same condition as ordered. And top quality memory foam is fragile; it is not like a mattress. It will have an odor at first .This will go away in a few hours or a day or two. If you have a really sensitive nose - let it air out in a room for a few days before you put it on your bed . Open a window for fresh air if possible ( Careful when you move it ) Some of the smell is due to the different things they must put in the memory foam to make it free from mold and mildew & dust mites. The topper is hypoallergenic and flame retardant. The Factory adds an anti-Microbial, which kills any fungi or germs which may get onto the topper. The odor will go away. If I got foam that did not smell, I would be worried, unless it had been out in the open for a while. So be happy that yours smells at first, this is a good thing!!!! Just let it air out for a few hours, and regain its air and its size......At first it will look too small, it will recover to size!!!!! At first you will think that this will never fit your bed. It will! Just be patient, it is memory foam. It will remember what it is! I just love this stuff! And you will too. ENJOY NOW!
