Meet four lovely Hawaiians....Shipped from Hawaii with Aloha, this listing is for four (4) different types/colors of Hawaiian Ginger plant roots:  Awapuhi `Ula`Ula (oo lah oo lah) red, Polu (poh loo) blue, Awapuhi Ke`oke`o (ah wah poo hee keh oh keh oh) White and Awapuhi Melemele (ah wah poo hee meh lay meh lay) yellow.

Sought after for landscaping projects, these ginger flower for most of the year.  Once flowering, "plantlets" will emerge and propagate themselves.  You'll soon have an exotic oasis of tropical Hawaiian ginger in every color and glorious fragrance.   The white and yellow gingers are frequently used in lei-making.  Their fragrance is heavenly.

Growing instructions:  Plant roots in potting soil, keep moist and out of direct sunlight.  Ginger prefer shade and indirect sun.  Ideal temperature is 60 - 90 degrees F.  Feed with a general garden fertilizer. 

These rootings come from a certified Hawaiian nursery and contain the Department of Agriculture stamp.  You can accept them with confidence that they are pest-free and approved for export to the U.S.
