Protecting your rope is very important. These pads wrap around the rope and secure with 2" hook and loop (velcro) Constructed using a very heavy nylon reinforced vinyl which is folded for a very durable double layer. Excellent for caving, climbing, rescue workers, arborist, Window Cleaners and anywhere ropes are used and need protection against abrasion or wherever the rope or cable goes over a sharp edge. Can also be used around trees, poles, etc. These also have a heavy D-ring at one end for securing the pad with a piece of cord. Assorted colors and lengths available. If you've seen these for sale on the web or by gear merchants, you will see that these are a great deal. Can be used on all size ropes,cables or chains. A doubled rope will also fit thru it. These will also wrap around a 1" or 2" nylon tie down or tow strap to protect your straps or the item you are securing.
