The later EZ-Go '01 has the steering assy. bolted to the front axle.(SEE PICTURES BELOW)
*The early EZ-Go '01 has the steering assy. mounted at the base of the steering column. *The front axle has triangular shaped spring pads where the leaf springs mount to the axle.
