You are bidding on one 40 ft coil of 20 gauge Nichrome 60 bare resistance heating wire. Made by  Wilbur B. Driver.  Tradenames; Tophet C, Nikrothal 60, MWS-675 and Chromel C.

 
This alloy has a maximum continuous operating temperature of 2102°F (1150°C).  Melting point; 2534°F (1390°C).   Measures 0.032" in diameter and has a resistance of 0.670 ohms per ft.  Applications include heating elements used in ovens, kilns, air heaters, hand dryers and other appliances where high temperatures are needed. Also used for woodburning, kiln furniture and other artistic applications where high heat is required.

 We have a variety of different gauges and alloys.
