This is a wonderful '40s--'50s chocolate cellophane straw hat--the inside circumference measures 19 1/2", the brim at the front is 4" wide and tapers to 3 1/2" at the back. The hat has a plaid taffeta ribbon around the crown--a bow at the back. The outer edge of the brim  is wired. The diameter is 14" by 14 1/2".

The label:Patricia,Fifth Avenue, New York, Paris.

Condition: The hat's in very good condition--the outer edge has a number of very tiny scuffs--the outer coating of the cellophane straw has come off with use--not glaring but it does exist--these tiny spots are gray not brown--and there's also discoloration on the inner grosgrain band.

Overall a very stylish hat--clean and ready to wear.
