"BLUE GARLAND"

 

Blue Garland bavarian china was made from the 1930's through the 1960's, and has been discontinued.    

On the back of each piece: "Johann Haviland (crown logo) BAVARIA GERMANY".  Soft, extremely feminine blue garland roses, set on a white background, with silver/platinum trim.

I collect Hummel's and respect a buyers concern and right, to a factual description.  I can find NO DEFECTS whatsoever but know this is not a new set.  This set is not new in original box/packaging.  I have felt each piece extremely carefully, and looked at each piece.  I can find no chips, flea bites, cracks, etc.  I believe it is honest to say the set is in near mint condition.  Mint in my opinion, is a item which is brand new, unopened in an original box and absolutely never used.  I am very hard on my own items when describing, because I don't want you to be unhappy.  

It is an absolutely gorgeous set I would rate as near mint.   Please know, there are 2 fruit bowls missing which I believe can easily be found on eBay, as many sellers part out these china sets.  As a set in this condition, few are found.
