This First Day Cancellation program was started in early 1972 by USPS. The Souvenir Page Program started with the Family Planning Issue, March 1972. Each Souvenir Page contain vital information and statistics about each stamp; ie. issue date, engraver, first day city/cities, printer, designer, etc. They measure 8 x 10-1/2 inches in size [perfect for framing]; however, recent minisheets or booklets have been known to occupying both sides.
