 A
soft, gorgeous, and expertly crafted two button from Hart Schaffner
& Marx in a herringbone weave of dark brown and gold with an
overall medium brown presentation. There are random subtle color flecks
throughout. There's no content label, but I'm assuming silk or a very
high silk content blend. It's in a tweed weave, but it's buttery soft,
with superior hand, drape, and flow, and just barely a full medium
weight (it's both lighter and softer than it looks). There's just a bit
of sheen in the right light.
It is a two button style, with notched lapels, full
lining, flap pockets, and single
rear vent. there's a current US Union label inside.
This jacket is in New or Like New condition.
It shows no signs of prior wear or cleaning. I HAVE had it
professionally cleaned, though. I buy in bulk, so I have garments
cleaned
prior to to sale to account for careless handling, for moth control,
and to press them.
I am providing actual
measurements of the jacket, including allowances
for alteration. I do not pack jackets in advance of sale, so if you
would
like a measurement not listed, or have any other questions, feel free
to ask. Look in the "jacket"
section below to see if it has a size tag. Do NOT go by size tag alone! The
measurement given above
was formulated from the actual measurements. I would encourage you to
compare the measurements to your best-fitting jacket.
The jacket has been freshly dry
cleaned and pressed prior to listing. Coupled with my
packaging method, most customers report that their garments
are ready to wear after
hanging overnight.
