100 percent of the blade is hand forged and made of high carbon AISI 1060 steel. It has been tempered and water quenched. Blade is razor sharp and capable of cutting 3 bamboo in a strike. This sword features a real silk Tsukamaki, real shark skin Samegawa, iron Musashi Tsuba, handmade copper Fuchi, Kashira and Menuki. A high value and collectable genuine Japanese battle ready sword. A sword bag is included.
