These are highly sought after, rare beads.  They are drilled right through the center and are also known as asparin beads, pill beads, nail heads, or lentil beads due to their shape.

(Note: These are 12mm.  They are enlarged in the photograph to show detail.)

This would be a beautiful component in bridal jewelry or other fine jewelry.

Swarovski has not made these in many years.
