Up for auction is this spectacular victorian watch chain necklace with a slide. It has a very long chain that is 49 inches long. The chain and slide are both gold filled. The victorian slide is heart shaped, it has a gorgeous etched design and 2 small seed pearls. The slide measures a tad over 1/4 inch by a tad under 3/8 inches. It measures a tad over 1/8 inch thick. Someone took the watch chain hook off so they could wear it as a necklace. So you can add a hook back on if you want to use it as a watch chain again. It weighs 9.8 grams. There is a few microscopic scuffs on the back and sides of the slide that are so faint you cannot see without the loop. Also a microscopic dot size speck of gold filled worn on the top that you cant see unles you look with the loupe. even with the loupe hard to see. I could not see any wear on the chain. Other than that it is in great condition with no damage and would be a wonderful item for anyones collection.
