This set, Middle Earth The Wizards, has been out of print for nearly ten years now, and still there's a huge group of core tournament players worldwide. This game has repeatedly been pointed to as the single best designed Collectable Card Game ever made, rivaled only by high-concept designs like Netrunner and Legends of the Five Rings. The art in this set is exceptional. The design of the game itself is unique - a company of characters set out to martial forces, find rings, stalk other player companies, destroy The One Ring, and even play the forces of Minas Morgul and Sauron.  As a company moves in and around Middle Earth collecting magic or martialing forces they face hazards controlled by your opponent - Dragons, Nazgul, Orcs, Trolls, Undead, and even a man or two! Don't carry too much stuff, because someone else might want it, or perhaps you'll want even more stuff!  Magic items and artifacts carry with them a burden of corruption, and if your company isn't strong of will, or if they carry too much, you might lose your characters! Really, a fantastic game and a lot of fun to play even for the non-Tolkien fan.
