We created and personally make this Chin Rest Pad for a Violin or Viola. You cannot buy this item at any other place.  It is made of 100% cotton and is padded with foam which makes it soft to your chin. There is a piece of fleece pading included so you can adjust the thickness of the pad. 

The pad helps to prevent injury and pain to your chin and neck.

There is a pocket sewn into the pad which slips over and pads the instrument chin rest. It wraps around the bottom of the instrument and covers the metal clamps and end pin.  It is secured to the back of the instrument by a rubber band. 

 Our Chin Rest Pad makes it comfortable to play the Violin or Viola.

 This set of Chin Rest Pads comes in  the Small Size which fits an instrument chin rest which measures 2 to 2.5 inches wide.  

The following explains how to determine the correct size Chin Rest Pad to buy:

Lay the Violin or Viola on a table. Place the instrument on its back, with the end pin toward your body and the tuning keys away from your body.  Measure the diameter of the instrument chin rest in inches from left to right across the round or oval part chin rest.

The pad uses a rubber band to connect to the pad to the back of the instrument. You can see how it works by looking at a "not for sale" pad.
