Item Description
Live Fruticose Lichen mounds: 3 Assorted pieces that belongs to the lichen group "fruticose ground lichens". These are seen in the 2nd picture above on top row. They are rounded in shape. You can also see the same type lichen that grows with and around the Cladonia cup lichens. When they dry out they change shape and color...upon watering them watch them come back to life and feel all spongy and greener! Can not be kept without water/light for long periods or it will die. Each piece is so unique & may even have small bits of moss attached and growing.
You will get 3 pieces of the fruticose lichen and 2 pieces of the Cladonia lichen described below for 1 price.
Also you will be getting Cladonia lichen which is a unique (golf tee looking ) lichen as seen in photos above. These are great for terrariums or vivariumsas well as planted in your shade garden planters outside!. Also looks neat sitting on the soil of your bonsai trees! Little care is needed. Just a spray of water and good lighting to keep it growing. Can take a bit more sun than regular moss can. You will be getting 2 sections that are between 1-2" squared.
