Cypress is the best outdoor wood you can get. It is a very dense, insect resistant wood that will be around for many years to come. This is why it is called the Eternal Wood. Do your research. Others may sell Cypress Swings, but check the quality. Each slat is hand selected and cut to fit your swing. I do not use staples to hold my slats together. Only brass plated screws and Solid Steel nuts and bolts! Others may use cheaper hardware and claim it is rust proof, which it probably is. But this cheaper hardware comes in an unsightly black color and already looks rusted. Only brass makes your swing look rich and beautiful year round.
