5 Micromodels Train engine Cut out Card model kits 1940

Please see domestic airmail and sea freight postage rates in description below.

Micromodels are card or paper models that were originally sold from the 1940's through the 1960's. Each model was made up of several small cards (or a single card per model as with these on offer here) -illustrated with the pieces of the model, all wrapped up in a label. You could cut the pieces out and carefully assemble an intricate three-dimensional model. But you'd better get out your tweezers - these detailed models are only a few inches big. You can store The Vatican, Windsor Castle, The White House, and Westminister abbey all on your windowsill. There were more than 100 original Micromodels of all types, and many people still collect the rare originals. These are particularly early models of Locomotives and carriages, please see the pics below to see what you are getting. Note 5 of the original eight models survive and are in totally unused, indeed virtually mint condition. Amazing survivors from the Ca1930-40s The outer paper envelope (Containing detailed instructions as shown) has of course been opened- however remains in fair condition otherwise. Model cards excellent. Please see pics.

Vol 1 Bones, Joints, Ligaments Vol 2 Regions, Muscles, Fascial, Heart, Blood Vessels Vol 3 Viscera, Brain, Nerves, Sense Organs An Atlas of Human Anatomy is a book of pictures of all the parts of the human physical body. These books are used by medical students and doctors for study and reference. They are also useful for anyone who works on the human body - physical therapists, massage therapists, bodyworkers, bodybuilders, athletes of all kinds, yoga students, yoga teachers. And of course since we all have bodies, anyone may find these books interesting. There are also textbooks on anatomy, or more commonly, anatomy and physiology (A&P) which explain how the body works. Werner Spalteholz"s Handatlas der Anatomie des Menschen is one of the most elegantly illustrated anatomical atlases of all time. Originally published in Leipzig as three volumes from 1895 to 1903, the atlas is still widely used and remains highly regarded by many. The atlas was remarkably popular during the first half of the 20th century, especially the English version in North America and the UK. Unfortunately, the original illustrations and printing plates for the work disappeared following the Second World War and their fate remains a mystery. And, in spite of the atlas"s popularity, little is known of the men who prepared the artwork for Spalteholz. It is commonly believed that Max Brodel contributed illustrations to the atlas, but a close examination of the work does not confirm this. A century after its inception, Spalteholz"s atlas remains a classic milestone in the history of anatomical illustration.
