5 Uchatius Bronce Bronze and Mother of Pearl fruit knives |
This pretty set of 5 is in very good condition.
The knives are marked to the blades Uchatius Bronce. The metal is silver in colour and bright and shiny. The mother of pearl shell infill is attached by 2 pins to either side. There are three parallel lines top and bottom of the shell.
There are a few small dark spots to the blades here and there but overall they present well. The mother of pearl is full of colour. One knife has a small chip to the mother of pearl as shown circled in the photos.
The blades are elegantly shaped and well seated. The blade extends the entire length of the handle. The join lines to the metal cladding to top and base can be seen, sometimes a paper width gap can be seen. There are no loose parts to the pieces.
The knives are 157mm long.
For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
