neodymium magnets?
A) Neodymium magnets are a member of
the rare earth family and are currently the strongest permanent magnets
in the world! They are composed of neodymium, iron and boron (NdFe)

does the grade N35, N40, N42,N45,N48,N50 mean?
A: These magnets come in a variety of
grades which are measured in units millions of Gauss Oersted.
Basically, the higher the grade the stronger the magnet and its pull
force.
Q: What
does pulling force mean?
A: Pulling force is a measure of
magnetic strength. It is the amount of force required to remove a
magnet parallel to a solid magnetic surface, such as a steel plate.
Q: How are
these magnets polarized?.
A: Through
Thickness.
Q: Do I have to worry
about temperature with neodynium magnets?
A: Yes. They are sensitive to heat so do not heat them above
175°F (80°C) If you do, they will begin to lose their
magnetic strength. This normally applies only to industrial usage of
heating the magnets, normal application will not affect the strength of
the magnets.
Q: Why is neodymium magnets coated?
A: They are coated in nickel to prevent oxidation (rust). Our
magnets are well coated in nickel to prevent rust.
Q: If I stack two neodymium magnets
together, does their strength double?
A: Yes. For example, two magnets rated with a individual
pulling force of 50 lbs will have a combined pulling force of 100 lbs
when stacked together.
Q: Do I need to be wary of
electronics around these magnets?
A: Yes. As a general rule of thumb, try to avoid close contact
between magnets and electronic media. More common items to be damaged
are televisions, computer moniters and credit cards.
Q: Should I be aware of
any health or safety issues with neodymium magnets?
A: As a precaution, magnets should not be near
pacemakers and similar medical devices. Magnets are
sometimes used to relieve pain from conditions such as arthritis, back
pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Q: Do neodymium magnets lose
strength over time?
No. They do not naturally lose any appreciable
strength and will last your lifetime! Make sure to not
heat them above 175 degree F (80 degrees C).
