There are other banjos out there but this has some inviting features for just slightly more than the others and well worth it. It has a 30 bracket ring, the more brackets the better the tone(as oppossed to an 18 or 24 bracket). There are also beautiful inlays on the headstock giving it the more traditional look. It has a nickel plated arm rest which makes it much easier to play in different positions. Some other added features are the Cast Aluminum Rim and Mahogany Resonator which also add to it's full and vibrant tone. The 5th peg is also geared making it much easier to tune where as other models don't have any gear. So many incredible features packed into one low price.
