Adorable antique / vintage celluloid or hard plastic Swedish costume doll pair dressed in the folk costumes of Leksand of the Dalarna province of Sweden. They have adorable painted faces and are German Turtlemark dolls with the turtle inside a diamond.mark on the back between the shoulders. I believe they are quite old as they weigh practically nothing at all. The legs dangle a bit loosely, but are still conneted. They are in good condition for their age although the boy's shirt is darkened from age and has a brown stain on one sleeve (see last picture). I believe the boy probably had a hat at one time.. Each measures about 5-1/4" tall. From non-smoking home.
