5 Vintage 1950's Boxing Magazines The Ring

Here are 4 vintage 1950's sports magazines "The RING", the 'World's Foremost Boxing Magazine' and 1 special The Ring TV Annual issue. Approx. 11 1/2" x 8 1/2". Overall fair-good condition. Pages have age browning, overall in good condition. Some short creases and tears here and there. No odor. 1) September 1954 Vol. XXXIII No. 8. Front cover pictures Carmen Basillo Welterweight Contender. Center of the front cover has a ripped out piece. 2) July 1956 Vol. XXXV No. 6. Front cover pictures Joey Giambra Middleweight Threat, Chuck Spieser, Marciano-Weill. Article headline on the front is "Negro Boxers Exploited - Say Commies". Front cover caption is "INSIDE - WHY MARCIANO QUIT!" Has article on Sugar Ray Robinson. Cover is loose and split along the spine. 3) January 1957 Vol. XXXV No. 12. Front pictures Archie Moore and Floyd Patterson. Front cover is loose and split along the spine, the back cover is attached. 4) February 1957 Vol. XXXVI No. 1. Front pictures Floyd Patterson 'Fighter Of The Year'. Front cover is loose and split along the spine, the back cover is attached. 5) "The RING MAGAZINE'S ANNUAL ON -- TV FIGHTS" issue dated 1954. Approx. 10 3/4" x 8 1/4". Front cover headings are: HOW DO YOU SCORE FIGHTS?, FLEISCHER RATES ROCKY, FANS PICK FAVORITES, RING FEEDS VIDEO". Interesting heading at lower corner is "WILL YOU PAY FOR TV SHOWS SOON?" with the emphasis on the word YOU. It is a 2 page article on Subscription-TV. Next page offers helpful hints on how to view the television, and safety tips for the eyes. This magazine has 98 pages. Light age browning. Several upper corner edges and tips are creased. The cover has creases, some tears and light water stain. Has initials handwritten under the title on the cover. 6) included is a newspaper clipping dated January 22, 1957 from the "AFRO Magazine Section" from The Baltimore Afro-American.
