This listing is for a set of 5 antique bread plates made by Haviland & Co in Limoges France. The pattern is the same style as Haviland's Valmont but features a red rose and green on lavender/purple border (see pics).
Plates measure approx. 6 1/8" in diameter.
Marked on bottom with "Haviland, France" in green and "Decorated by Haviland & Co, Limoges" in red. Our research indicates this backstamp was used between 1894-1931.
Plates are in excellent condition with high luster, very utensil marks (visible only under light reflections) and no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. We see light wear on outside edges but NOTHING significant for their age.

Our brick & mortar is in an older part of Eugene which affords access to some unbelievable antiques and collectables. We are always amazed when everyday items from an earlier time manage to survive decades, remaining in pristine condition. We're also surprised by the radical changes in our communication and life styles over the past 60 years!
On another note, we especially want your experience with our firm to be a pleasant one and believe good communication is the key. Because of that, our policies and procedures are listed below.
