50 COW EARS - Pig Ears Alternative Pork &/Or White!

Up for sale is a box of 50 jumbo-sized, 100% Natural cow ears. Non-greasy and very low in fat, our jumbo-sized cow ears are made of 100% natural cowhide and are a healthy alternative to pig ears for your dog. These are not "split" or "cut" ears - they are top quality, full-sized ears. Please take a look at the pictures to see just how large our cow ears are - we import them from Brazil, where the free-ranging, grass-fed cattle grow quite large!

We currently stock Pork-Basted and White/Natural Cow Ears. Please let me know which you prefer, or if you'd like half of each. The default will be 25 of each variety Please be sure to supervise your dog when giving him any treat.

Customers who purchase pig ears often ask me to describe the difference between pig ears and cow ears. I always say that it's kind of like the difference between a potato chip and an apple - they're both great snacks, but the potato chips are much higher in fat. Similarly, pig ears are much higher in fat than cow ears, and therefore a dog who is used to snacking on pig ears might not like a cow ear as much, or might need time to adjust. I'm always happy to send a sample cow ear if you'd like to "try before you buy" - just email me. Cow ears are also larger than pig ears by about 40%.

We are proud to import our cow ears from Brazil. According to the Consulate General of Brazil:

• Brazilian cattle is internationally known as “green cattle” because it raised free-range. All meat and meat products exported by Brazil are first inspected by the country’s Ministry of Agriculture in accordance with international sanitation standards. Furthermore all meat imported into the U.S. is subject to strict USDA standards.
• Brazilian cattle is only fed vegetarian-based food products consisting of soy, corn, rice, crushed sugar cane, etc. No animal byproducts are added to their diet.
• Since 1990, Brazil has not registered a single case of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy ("Mad Cow" Disease). On March 30, 2001, a scientific committee of the European Union classified Brazil as being among the countries with less chance of developing the disease.
