The vine will grow at an extremely fast rate, so don't worry about not getting to enjoy their blooms. They can also be grown in a hanging basket. Cypress Vine is the perfect screen, with lacy, fern-like foliage elegant enough for the patio yet dense and lush, for superb coverage. The blooms form neat, 5-pointed stars with long trumpet-shaped throats, studded among the foliage like jewels. Cypress Vine is a sun-loving annual and is not picky about soil type. A good choice for the less-rich soils near fences and against structures. The Cypress vine will readily reseed. Although it is an annual it will reseed and come back year after year.
