Tahiti Sunset spun & dyed by Sharon: 75% Mohair, 25% Wool both raised and milled in the USA. Yardage: 50 yards on a .7 ounce skein Suggested Gauge: Worsted Suggested Uses: Abilene is a angora goat that lives about 5 miles from my farm. She is super duper soft and a joy to spin. This skein was spun from clean, dyed locks. This left the yarn with some extra fuzz and a few locks and boucle. It was plyed with a thin strand of wool eyd in the same dye pot. Use it for hats, mittens, dry or wet felting, knitting crochet, weaving, scrapbooking, tassels, etc. It can be added in a Fair Isle pattern. Or use this as accent with a worsted weight wool or in a scribble scarf. If used in a felting project, the mohair will be hair-ier than regular wool. The scan is of three of the six skeins that were all dyed in the same batch of locks and roving. Shipping: S&H are free. Shipping will be adjusted for foreign orders.
Note: Spun and stored in a non smoking environment. Call 512-608-8054 to pay with a credit card or make a pick-up appointment and receive a 3% discount on your order. Please us Pay Pal when purchasing from outside the USA. Need directions to my brick and mortar store/studio? Find them at www.three-stitchers.com
