This is what you get:

1) Coherent CO2 laser CONSERVATIVELY RATED AT 50w (should run more depending on power supply and cooling system)

2) HENE laser with power supply (red beam so you know where the burning will occur)

3) Beam combiner optic (CO2 laser and HENE beam merges, where you point the red is where the burning occurs)

4) Articulated beam transport arm (mount to CNC system, or use manually)

5) Laser cutting head (focuses beam to small point to cut materials, includes gas assist fitting to keep smoke off optics, and increase quality of cut, and efficiency) I have 220V and 12VDC dry air cutting systems available in my store.

6) 14FT + Emblica cord with industrial jacket to allow head to be powered, cooled, controlled from a distance. Could mount head on moving XY if desired.

THIS TUBE IS A GAS PLASMA TUBE SYSTEM!  Simply add a power supply, small vacuum pump, and a little cooling water or oil and you are ready to burn, cut, solder, or otherwise laser whatever you feel like with about 50W of power +(power supply dependent).

This is an entire system perfectly matched for CNC use. You could remove mirror's from arm to use as flying optics.

These system components cost over 30,000 USD new! This is a US made unit not some off-shore junk.

This unit would make an excellent demo high power laser for a classroom or educational show because:

1) It can be made portable into a reasonably small hand held device, everything including a under car neon transformer can be made to fit in a PVC pipe with a gun type handle and a belt mounted battery pack.

Imagine the student‘s reaction when the physics instructor actually built a WORKING laser ray gun that fries stuff at 10 feet! Alternately the device may be mounted in a nifty plexiglass box for viewing of the working guts!

2) Unlike most other lasers the beam out of this laser has a high intrinsic safety factor, it can be blocked effectively by NORMAL $2 a pair Polycarbonate safety glasses; most people are used to wearing these in the lab anyway, and they can be found ANYWHERE!

3) The laser’s power of about 50W-60W is strong enough to be useful and dramatic (literally will set fire, while most just “pop a balloon“), but is strong enough to be an extreme danger like burning through walls and stuff, it also teaches a very important practical lesson about lasers, the beam is COMPLETELY invisible yet it quickly sets fire to many materials. If you get the beam of this on your body you will get burned and the power supply could kill, no ifs ands or buts! You the bidder are responsible for making this into a system of your own design compliant with class IV laser products. Therefore you accept sole responsibility for safe use of this item!
