NOTE: If you are not familar with TEFLON HEAT SHRINK PLEASE READ...TEFLON heat shrink is a specialty product. It is impervious to most chemicals and solvents and is best known for its resistant to extreme temperatures. This amazing heat resistance also translated into VERY HIGH SHRINK TEMPERATURES (up to 1000F or higher depending on wall thickness.)
Few heat guns can achieve these high temperatures in a concentrated area. However, open flame devices, mini butane and propane torch can. For this reason Teflon Heat Shrink may not be appropriate for applications that cannot handle a high temperature cure (i.e. shielded wires.) Please consider this before purchase.
