Vintage European Damsak Duvet cover circa 1950s.
A much better quality than is readily available today.
The fabric is white and was woven on a Jacquard loom. In some lighting conditions the fabric looks like plain white fabric. The images are become pronounced with lighting from different directions. It is a subtle yet elegant effect.
The duvet cover has a button clousure. (see photos)

Masculin striped pattern, great in a modern bedroom.
Measurements:
62 inches by 76.5 inches.
Be aware that European Duvet covers are typically smaller than the ones sold in the U.S. They sit on top of the bed. They will not go over the foot of the bed. They can also be used as feather bed covers. We have European size duvets and feather beds that fit most of our duvets. Please email us if you have any questions about how they will fit on your bed.
Condition:
There are some age stains or some yellowing that will come out with a washing or soaking.
Material: A Superior Quality High thread count cotton.
Some of the duvet covers have never been used or washed and might have sizing in them. They will need to be washed to remove the sizing. These duvet covers will become softer and softer with use.
