Screw off the lens cover
 (Extreme rounded edges wide angle fish eye view) 1.2mm lens has approximate 185 degree field of view (will fit with the lens cover off)
 2.97mm lens has approximate 127 degree field of view (Human eye view)
 50mm lens has approximate 7.8 degree field of view (will fit with the lens cover off)(License plate/animal close up at 150ft)
The white rca female lead on the cam is not for audio, it is for the KA-08 fx remote only. If you plug audio into that jack, your adventure camera will turn to a negative reverse image look. (If you do not have the remote), plug audio back into the white jack again while your camcorder, & helmet cam are powered up to reverse the image back to normal, otherwise if you have the remote, just press the NEG/POSI button 1 time. Make sure your camcorder, and helmet cam have power on at that time. Doing so will change it back to normal. When using the remote while connected to the camera you have to press the buttons firmly with your thumbnail towards the middle of the button. To use the PTZ feature, press & hold the tele button to where you want the zoom to be set. Then press & hold pan or tilt to adjustment desired. If you press pan or tilt 1 time quickly, it will internally move by itself back & fourth/up & down until pressed again. Press & hold wide to zoom out. In darker environments, you can press the Day&Night ON/OFF button 1 time to switch it into black & white mode & clean the picture up a little. The brightness button has to be pressed multiple times to adjust for proper lighting. On bright days turn it down a few clicks, & on dim days, turn it up for maximum performance clarity. The NEGA/POSI will give you a special negative effect. Press 1 time to turn on and off. When you disconnect the remote from the camera, the cam will remember all the settings except the tele/pan tilt. That will reset back to normal when power is lost to the cam. You can have multiple cameras on a system, and only need 1 remote to program them.

& you will expose the lens. Looking at the camera from a side view is a small hole located in the threads. Using a regular head eyeglass type screwdriver, loosen that set screw counter clockwise just enough to enable removal of the lens by unscrewing it from the barrel. If you loosen it too much, the set screw may fall out, & get lost (very tiny). Now twist in the new lens, & focus it while you twist it in. when it is focused, with your left hand, hold the lens in place pushing in on it to keep it focused perfectly. With your right hand gently tighten the set screw just enough until it locks the lens into place. Do not overtighten the set screw or you may strip it. Now screw the cap back on to seal the lens in waterproofing it.
