Matched with "CAMPAGNOLO" very verry AERO spokes and "Wheelsmith" aluminum nipples on a 325 gram "ARAYA ADX-1" AERO tubular aluminum rim. These NOS 20year old rims are tough and we feature them on CYCLOCROSS wheels built up 28hole and 36hole. And Oh Yes!! Its the glue on the tubular tire style wheel. Because its not a "RACING BIKE" unless it has tubulars. This wheel weighs only 580 grams. "WOW" That is 70 grams lighter than the best MAVIC Ksyrium SSC SL tubular. And much of the savings is at the rim. No clincher set-up can come close to this weight and performance level=(745grams complete wheel) with a TUFO 165 gram road time trial tire. Thats lighter than the best Mavic SSC SL clincher wheel with only the inner tube=(750grams without a tire) (add 180-240grams more for the tire)You gotta add the TIRE!! because riding on just the "inner tube" is just too SCARRY!!.
