6 Old 1897 Gorham Strasbourg Sterling Tea Spoons 188 Gm














Description

An exquisite vintage set of 6 sterling silver tea spoons in the Strasbourg pattern made by Gorham Silver Co. Patented 1897. All are engraved with a script letter "R". Marked with the Gorham lion, anchor and letter G hallmark and the word Sterling. One is also marked J. Wiss & Sons, for the Newark, New Jersey store where they were purchased. The store was founded in 1885. They are marked with an H in a diamond which means that they are heavy weight. Weigh 188 grams.

Measure 5 7/8" long. All are in very good condition. No bends, dings or dents. Show light wear, with light marks on the handles and bowls.
