6 Antique Windsor Chairs

You are bidding on a set of 6 antique Windsor Chairs. Only one is shown, but there are six. These chairs were once in the Circle Bar in Bay City Michigan over 75 years ago. They are all in excellent condition. Each chair has a curved back and 35 3/4" high. The bowed back is 19" high. The seats are 17 1/2" x 15 1/2". They have been painted with a satin black finish. The paint is smooth. No brush marks. They may have been sprayed. I believe possibly oil. The rungs, back spindles, and legs are tight - no loose joints. This is a very nice set. There is a square area on the underside of one chair that is not painted. Three other chairs also have some paint missing from the top edge. Probably from storing them seat to seat and the tops touching the floor. There is also one nick on a leg where there is paint missing. A little sanding and a nice spray job would spruce them up to look like new. I prefer store Pick-up, but will pack for shipping ground UPS and Freight. One box would have to go freight. Each chair weighs approx. 10 pounds.  Two chairs will take a large box.  and 4 will take a very large box. If you decide to bid and have them shipped. I will charge $18.00 for a handling fee. This will cover packing supplies, bubble etc. for safe shipping. I have to take them to the UPS store, and have no idea what shipping will cost. They would probably have to be shipped Freight, or Fed Ex. It could run approx. $345. If shipped, the buyer would pay actual shipping fees plus the handling fee. Any questions, please ask. SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping for USPS  mail. Insurance is optional under $25.00.  Insurance will depend upon ending bid. If buyer does not want insurance on this item, seller will not be responsible for damage or loss caused by the USPS.) Items are shipped within 24-48 hours weekdays. Shipping includes a Delivery Confirmation. A $3.00 handling fee is charged. This will help with shipping materials and other costs involved.

International buyers from Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Australia, Germany, Europe and most of Asia are welcome.  If you would like to find out shipping costs before you bid, email me your ship to address and I will respond with the charges. You might find it cheaper than the shipping calculator. International payment will only be accepted through Paypal or a money order in US funds. Combining items always saves on costs. A $3.00 handling fee is charged. Bid price is placed on the customs form.
