I got this set of 12 at a estate sale out in Lancaster, Pa.. I will be selling the entire set here on ebay starting with the soup bowls that are already on. VINTAGE FRANCE LIMOGES VISNAUD SALAD PLATES SET OF 6. I BELIEVE IT MIGHT BE PATTERN # VIG101 PER REPLACEMENTS LTD. BUT NOT I'M NOT SURE. THE PICTURE ON REPLACEMENTS RESEMBLES THIS PATTERN. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY PIECES TO REFER TO EXCEPT FOR THE ONE PIC THEY HAVE LISTED. BEAUTIFUL PINK & YELLOW FLOWERS WITH GRAY GEOMATIC SCROLLING AND GOLD TRIM ACCENTS. HAS A BAND OF CREAM COLOR LIMOGES UNDER THS GRAY DESIGN AND THAN PURE WHITE LIMOGES PORCELAIN AT THE BOTTOM OF PLATE MAKES THIS PATTERN JUST OUTSTANDING. THERE ARE 2 BACKSTAMPS ON BOTTOM, SEE PIC. THERE IS THE FRANCE, VISNAUD LIMOGES IN CIRCLE STYLE, THEN THERE IS THE LETTER W WITHIN A WREATH AND FLOWING RIBBON. ON THE RIBBON PRINTED: PHILADELPHIA, PARIS, NEW YORK. I TRIED TO RESEARCH THE W BACKSTAMP TO SEE ITS RELATION BUT COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING. ANYONE WITH ANY INFO PLEASE LET ME KNOW. SALAD PLATES MEASURES 7 1/2" IN DIAMETER. FOUR Salad Plates are in EXCELLENT condition with NO chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. TWO Salad Plates has one chip each on the underneath side at the rim. YOU can Not see them from the top so the do not show when useing them at the table. There might be some slight wear to gold trim here and there, But hard to find if it is there. A STUNNING LIMOGES DINNERWARE SET TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION. ...... COMES FROM A SMOKE FREE HOME. What a great gift this would make for someone.
