Auction Info:

This auction is for 6+ chocolate pied Muscovy Duck eggs. You may also get black/white pieds from my ducks. I have three chocolate pied female, one black/white female, one black/white drake and one chocolate pied drake. .

I ONLY have Muscovy ducks, so these are purebred, no mutts!

Breed Info:

Muscovies are friendly, very smart, good flyers and roosting, tree ducks. They eat mice, small snakes, bugs, weeds and will trim your grass. They are cold hardy, as well.  These are big birds, with the drakes often weighing 12 to 15lbs! The hens are usually 6-8lbs

The Muscovies are quiet, as a matter of fact, they are about the quietest duck there is. They do not quack, but they do make a variety of hissing sounds, as well as squeaks. The hens are EXCELLENT layers of large (edible) eggs, especially in spring, and will very broody, wonderful setters! One of my females hatched out 12 chicken eggs & then 15 of her own eggs within a few weeks!

Baby ducklings are creamy light yellow with shades of black or brown on them. They imprint very easily to people & are very friendly, not to mention SUPER CUTE!

Additional Shipping Info./Nitty Gritty:

Each egg will be individually wrapped to prevent breakage while they are in transit. I will send any/all extras which are laid the day of shipping, just incase any of the eggs do crack or break. All of the eggs will either be picked up off the farm the day they are shipped or the evening before, so they will be as fresh as possible. I also write the date in pencil on each egg when they are collected.

I will ship the eggs as close to the beginning of the week as possible (I ONLY ship on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays) so they will not sit at the post office over the weekend. If an auction ends on a Wednesday, the eggs will be shipped to you on the following MONDAY (unless it's a holiday weekend) and collected that weekend.

Please note: I will ship on a Thursday or Friday if you'd like, but I can't ship on Saturdays because our post office is closed.

I do not send old eggs.

Fine Print:

I guarantee fresh and fertile eggs of the breed auctioned. However,  I cannot guarantee hatchability due to many variables out of my control after the eggs leave my farm--such as shipping & handling, incubation equipment, and incubation methods.
