6 HUO-CHUAN COINS OF HSIN DYNASTY ( 2nd & 4th rows ) Interregnum of Wang Mang ( AD 7-23 )

Wu Shu coins were first cast around 118 BC when Emperor, Han Wu Ti ordered to withdraw Pan-Liang coins. However, the official record of the introduction of Wu Shu coins was in 136 B.C. These coins could be cast during the later period of W. Han and the beginning of East Han Dynasty.

Huo Chuan Coins were minted around AD 14 during the fifth coinage reform, the last one introduced by Wang Mang, who declared himself Emperor, establishing his "Hsin" (new) Dynasty ( AD 7-23) or we call this period Interregnum of Wang Mang.
