6+ Standard Salmon Favorelle Fertile eggs for hatching

Up for your consideration is 6+ Standard Salmon Favorelle Fertile Hatching Eggs for your incubator or broody hen.  The Favorelles are one of my favorite breeds. They are listed as critically endangered with the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. The Favorelles were developed in France in the early 19th century as a dual purpose breed.  They have been called "the French Poodle of chicken breeds".  They are  mostly an exhibition breed today in the U.S. The hens lay medium sized creamy to light brown tinted eggs in good numbers (180-220/year), and are good winter layers too. These are beautiful birds with muffs, a beard, feathered feet and five toes. Favorelles come in Salmon and in White, which is rare.  You may  hatch out a white favorelle as you can see I have hatched a gorgeous solid white rooster from this line.  Salmon Faverolles are the most common variety. Hens are beautiful, with snowy breasts and fluffy white faces: their backs are a lovely honeyed salmon color with white lacing. Roosters are huge and magnificent, parading around with a virtual rainbow of colors: iridescent black where the hens are white, burnished with bronze on their backs and wings, while their hackles and saddles the color of pale straw. Faverolle roosters are particularly calm and dignified, and make great roosters for the home flock since they are not as aggressive as some others.  They are shy and sweet-natured, very docile. 

Shipping & Payment

I will be extra careful, wrapping each egg individually in bubble wrap, and adding plenty of extra packing to the box. as well as label the box "fragile Live Embryos & No X-ray".  Due to the time sensitive nature, please pay promptly through paypal, as I plan to send out your eggs priority mail w/ tracking within 1 day of auction end, or as soon as payment is received (unless auction ends on a Sat. or holiday).  Please, no e-checks without prior notification as you are bidding.  I want my customers to have fresh eggs and these take a while, sometimes a week to clear.  Occassionally, laying patterns will change/decrease suddenly due to changes in the weather, broody hens, etc.  Should this occur I will notify you and make arrangements for shipping your eggs as soon as possible to the buyers' satisfaction.   I ship on Monday-Wednesday and on Saturday to help insure your eggs are fresh and arrive without having to sit in the post office over the weekend.  I will ship within the United States with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. 

I would appreciate your leaving feedback upon arrival of your shipment and not after your hatch.  I send an extra(s) to help with any unfortunate mishaps.  I truly want my customers to be happy with my service and hope that you'll enjoy these delightful birds as much as I have.
