6 VINTAGE GERMAN SILVERPLATE PIE FORKS MARKED 100



 

 

Many years ago, my elderly German aunt wanted to start me on a silverplate flatware set.  Each birthday and Christmas brought me pieces of the set.  Somewhere along the way, she forgot what pieces she had given me, and I think even forgot, or couldn't find the same pattern. Am listing all this week.

None of the pieces were ever used.  They were always stored away in the closet.  Some have monograms and some do not.  I have checked the pattern on a popular replacement website, but didn't find this pattern.

 

This group is a set of 6 six inch pie forks.  They are backstamped 100, which I believe is a cut above the standard 90 for silverplate.  Also there is a small locomotive symbol.  Since my Uncle worked for the German railroad, I am supect that these might have come from there.

Condition:  Not Monogrammed, unused
