These six vintge coasters date back to the 1950s, but they have never been used. The foil stickers which read "JAPAN" are still on the back of each and every one, and there are no stains or odors in the cork to suggest use. Each coaster measures 3" in diameter, with 2 1/2" diameter interior space for placement of a glass. I do not know what type of wood they are made of, but it is lightweight and soft.
