OLD ROCKHOUND COLLECTION

THESE SPECIMENS ARE PART OF AN OLD ROCKHOUND COLLECTION.

I HAVE LISTED ANY COLLECTION INFO ON THE SPECIMEN(S) - BUT USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT!

These "Rockhound" lots are part of a large collection that had been in storage for many years.  The paper display boxes probably have some foxing or brown.  Zip-bags with labels may be "foggy" and the labels may be wrinkled/cracked, etc.  Specimens in open thumbnail boxes may be dusty - but they are rocks, so I'm sure a quick rinse will solve that!  Unless noted as "loose", all mineral specimens in standard, white, thumbnail boxes are attached to a hard, foam pad/bottom - but the bottom is not attached to the box, just snugly tucked-in (can be removed to rinse the minerals/pad if needed).

LOT  SIZE  (# per Bid or Lot):  6 different specimens per lot.

6 Different Calcite Crystal Samples from 6 Different Locations in North America.

Photo is a representative lot - but no 2 lots are the same.

Each lot has: Calcite, Smith Co., TN (clear/milky) in box -- Calcite, Otter Lake, Quebec (salmon-orange) in box -- plus 4 other samples from various locations (each in labeled bag).  These last 4 specimens vary from lot to lot.  Overall, there are specimens from IL, FL, OH, IN, AZ, NM, and Mexico - but 4 different were pulled at random and added to the first 2 for each lot.

Please don't ask for specific locations - these are already bagged/boxed for shipping.

Size: Thumbnail boxes are the standard size, 1-1/2" across.
