This cap will help protect your current or new deck or fence from moisture rot (rain & snow) and the harsh UV rays from the sun. If your tops of your posts are already split this cap will assist the post from splitting more. These are truly worth the money in the long run instead of replacing your deck or fence. Attach with exterior caulk or nails. As with any exterior product, we recommend you apply a good quality finish to preserve the wood’s natural beauty. Ideal for boat dock posts too. This product is manufactured by Maine Ornamental.
