 Pair (2) Parallel Lounge Chairs, Denmark, c. late 1960s Wonderful vintage chairs with very clean architectural lines. These are indeed from Denmark, yet have a clear Florence Knoll look to them. We are not sure on the designer, but they are well made and of definite "designer" caliber. Chair frames (under the fabric) are solid beech and Legs supports are solid oak (finish is like a light teak color) with orange upholstered bodies and removable low profile matching orange cushions. They sit low and are very comfortable for just about any body type. Note: Different monitors display colors differently. The orange is not shocking bright, its a warm subtle hue, very 1960s. The leg supports will unscrew and the bodies actually hinge (seat and back) to fold flat for shipping. measurements Overall 24"w by 28.5"d by 28.5"h condition All original and very good for the age. Overall clean with some minor sun fading to the orange fabric (nothing objectionable). Foam is excellent. A few corners on the upholstered frames have some wear to the fabric (see close up pics). Oak legs have some minor scuffs and rubs one might expect. If you do not mind a little vintage character, these need nothing and are ready to use.
