It was the fabulous 1960's - Mary Quant was the designer of the moment, Twiggy was in all the magazines. Against bright solid red or yellow backdrops, the models wore lots of black and white. These great earrings are right out of the op-art movement of the mid-60's.
Substantial layered Lucite 2-inch hoops dangle from a white button with a clip-style back, marked with the Crown Trifari logo and a copyright symbol on the clip itself.
Lovely condition - some minor wear to brushed-goldtone metal support on top of hoop - but this is on the back.
